Everyone should see it. Greek life is falling at IU, and we have to stop it. OSFL is trying to kill the every org.

This is how it is done. Add a bunch of new rules to the agreement that are impossible to live up to, force you to sign the agreement at gunpoint and then throw the book at you when you can't live up to the new impossible to comply with rules.

If you want things to change with regard to IU, IFC needs to fight back. You have to push for change now if you want the Greek system to survive.

Excuse me, but IU has rules in place for a reason, so if you deliberately choose not to comply with the terms in the Greek Life Agreement, why should IU bother to keep your chapters around? Your Nationals/HQs have rules & bylaws in place for the exact same reason so if you want to stay in good graces with IU & your fraternities it’s on YOU to follow them.

Call the new Greek Life Agreement unreasonable or lame but it’s neither of the above. Follow it or risk losing your chapter.

Bull chit. IU has chicken chit rules. Houses get pinched for pledges wearing suits, driving guys around to prevent DUI, cleaning the house, decorating the house for the holidays. The administration is out to eliminate greek life, plain and simple. Fight back now or forever be gone. Good luck.

I’m unaware that anyone signed it and I believe there are attorneys now involved representing the Greek System.

If Greek life could get along for 6 months they file a class action lawsuit that would bring IU to its knees over what has happened in the past 10 years. They are so hellbent in protecting each social class and allowing everyone to identify in anyway they want but they discriminate against everyone that identifies themselves as part of the Greek system.

For instance Making pledges wear suits to class is considered hazing however athletic teams dictate the outfits their players wear to be part of a team. Professors can grade you on your professional appearance in some classes. But if you require pledges to wear suits every Tuesday that’s hazing and can take down an entire house.
