what is it going to take for a house to move up here?

I’m in a sorority so I’ll give my two sense about rankings for frats. People mess up thinking ranks are solely based off parties. Ranks take into consideration the types of guys in these houses, involvement, etc. A top house doesn’t always throw bangers. Example of this is ZBT and Pi Kapps are known for fun parties and are a top house but top houses like Sig Chi, Fiji and Beta (before membership review) don’t have the best parties but are smart and invovled chapters. Pretty much top house sororities just get along with the guys in those houses.

It has already been clearly established that it isn’t based on anything. This is just arbitrary since their is no such thing as a person being a better human and an entire house that is better? There is a vibe from houses like chill and accepting or uptight and backstabbing. There is also insecure and desperate which self rankers are. Since only self rankers put themselves high, why are they constantly ranking?

If you are seriously coming on here to ask that then it’s a lost cause

I mean first you’re gonna have to get off of greekrank and start worrying about things that matter. Get a good social who knows people maybe?😂

It's not going to happen until IU has forced pairs and all houses get to meet and pair with each other and get to see what each other is about. When this happens all houses will start to accept different types of pledge classes than they currently do.

The tier system is a joke here. It’s not based on who is actually the best, it’s based on who has had a long-standing reputation. There is no way for houses to change tiers bc everyone wants to cling onto their rep and not stoop down to check out lower houses who are rising. Once there is less divide between who houses pair with, then the tiers will actually reveal themselves.

Move to forced pairs like every other school.
Most other schools are not tearing down the greek system like IU because all houses pair with each other and enjoy the variety. They are bot on this site killing each other like we do.
