sorority girls accent?

i have noticed that in the past few years girls in Greek Life have developed some type of 'accent'? It often sounds low-pitched and raspy, and a little bit like a California/West-Coast accent. Has anyone else noticed this, or am i crazy?

No hate at all, i've just wondered about it for a while and it seems pretty prevalent across iu

It’s because they all join a house and start smoking weed. The constant smoking affects the raspiness
