what to do

by: Sad geed

I rushed in the spring and ended up with no bid. I really wanted a fraternity experience and am considering joining an unhoused fraternity during 2nd wave. Is it worth doing or should I risk trying fall of next year as a sophomore to get into a house with a more established Greek scene?

yes its worth it, worth a try to check phi psi or alpha sig to see if they got enough to fill their houses as well, little bit of a long shot

Unfortunately I believe they both filled their pledge class as everyone knew they were getting on campus next year

As someone else who rushed, both of those houses had huge amounts of people rushing and filled their quotas from what I've heard. I'd assume the only frats doing second rush are the ones that'll be off campus next year

There are a lot of fraternities that will be doing 2nd wave rush! I would recommend checking them out, if you don't vibe with any of them you can just try rush next fall.

Doesn’t hurt to try you’ll never know if you don’t give them a try.

If you want the experience then you will get that unhoused

Don’t give up if you want it. Sometimes the things you didn’t consider the first time end up being the best!
