Probably just means you didn’t know anyone. Rush is a joke here. Only thing that matters is knowing people, open rush is basically for show as houses already have begun bidding kids they know.

I definitely feel you. Of course I'm upset that I didn't get a bid but at the same time I think the fraternity recruitment process could be a lot better. You don't have nearly enough time to check even a majority of the houses to see who you click with. There's no way to know if you're already in or if the guys simply aren't interested in giving you a bid. You can end up wasting a lot of time. It's a shame because it's an experience a lot of guys want but don't get because they don't want to milk relationships with guys in certain houses.

I agree. You can also be a founding member of a new house. Maybe look into it

Both AKL or TEP would be good placed to look. They are just starting out and are unhoused on Campus but it would be your way in this year to avoid being a GEED.
