AGD is but i think it’s by invite

This has been said before, but somehow y'all don't seem to get it. Other than the sororities who are doing open informal recruitment and announcing it on their social media, there is no way to know who else is doing informal unless you get an invite from someone you already are close to in a particular chapter. The invite-only recruitments tend to be hush-hush and you can't just show up. You have to be invited. It doesn't matter if someone on here tells you about it...if you're not invited then you are not invited.

Sounds like you haven't been invited, so your only options are the informal recruitments that chapters are posting about on social media.

DPhiE, ASA, and SK are great chapters--I'd say give them a chance.

If it's not on social media and the Fraternity and Sorority Life office hasn't told you about it, then you're not invited.

Like the other poster said, it's useless to know who is doing informal recruitment because it's not like you can get in without an invite.

The way that invite-only recruitment has worked in my chapter in the past is that we have had a chapter meeting to decide whom to invite (since we were only extending a handful of bids), and chapter members basically presented their friends as candidates. Then the chapter decided whom to invite to the private/invite-only events.

I know at other chapters, it's done differently and may be done less formally.

If you have a friend in a chapter you are interested in, it doesn't hurt to express interest and ask if their chapter might be doing informal in the future. But keep in mind that they and/or their chapter may or may not choose to invite you.
