can i get into a frat party as a geed?
by: Potential geedI got a private bid from a good house but I don’t feel like I fit in and I don’t really want to take it just to be in a sorority. If one of my sorority or fraternity friends gets me on the list can I get into a frat party or should I take the bid if I want to have any social life at all

If you don't fit in, don't take it. After this week and next, your friends should be able to get you into parties. Stay in touch with the friends, they only have to live in one year. You can live with them in two years and then depending on when you're 21, it's all good.

How do you know you don’t fit in?
How much time have you spent with all 100-200 women in this house?
This is your best chance to go Greek, they see something in you.
I’d ask to meet more members before decking a bid, meeting people on a regular setting vs formal recruitment makes a huge difference.

You don’t know enough about the Greek system or this particular house to make an informed decision yet. Same advice I gave someone else. Turn off your cell phone, go to the house, talk to the girls eye to eye, face to face - old school - no phones no texting no Snapchat Get to know them. Laugh and talk and hang out. Actually get to know them. Just like you did with your roommate. Were you instant besties on day one? Of course not! Same here. Give it a chance.
