what did everyone pref and how excited are you!?

^^ PNMs take notes. I go to a different midwestern school and I had 1 house I ADORED and 1 house that I absolutely did not want to be in for pref, really thought I'd get my 1st choice but ended up with my second one. Had my moment of mourning, cried, but then realized I went through rush because I wanted the sorority experience; here it was being handed to me and yet I was out in the hallway crying to my rho gamma instead of jumping up and down with my pledge class and meeting my new sisters.
Flash forward, I love my sorority and admittedly sometimes wonder why my first choice didn't want me, but I'm able to brush it off quickly and be happy to be in the house that DID want me. I love my sisters and I'm really proud of my chapter nationally, and everything happens for a reason. Go in with the attitude that there is a positive experience waiting for you in whatever house is on your bid card, and you will have a much better bid day experience.

The only thing she lowers her chance of where Phi Mu is concerned is being a quota addition. Everything is going to be a mess this year because of XO pulling out.
