is suicide rushing a good idea?

Hi honey! I know this whole process sucks and is super confusing, but you’re doing great! It takes a lot to keep going but it’s totally worth it. Whatever you do, don’t suicide bid. You’re not taking that bid away from anyone else if that’s the bid you end up with. But suicide rushing ruins your chances of being added to a bid list that’s already full. There’s another post on here that explains how that system works. Just go for it with an open heart and mind and if you really don’t feel anything for that chapter before initiation, then you can drop.

I mean if Greek life just isn’t that important to you then yeah drop

Don't do it. You can't really know what a chapter is really like just based off of rush, and you could be missing out on a great experience without realizing it. If you end up in the house you don't want and it's actually a bad fit for you, you can always drop later.

Here is a thought— pnms say they didn’t feel a connection with some houses and couldn’t see themselves there. In really a time span of a few minutes visiting a house.

So why take it personally if a house cuts you for the same reason? You feel they didn’t give you a chance- were closed minded to what you had to offer.

It works the other way too. Open your mind.
