Does not have to take legacies, if her GPA is below their requirement, then no she does not get a bid.

Of course that goes for any chapter if they don’t make the requirement they don’t have to be invited back at all

No. Policies vary, but the most common ones are:
a) legacies automatically get invited to second rounds
b) any legacy that makes it to pref is put on the top of the sorority’s bid list (that is, if the legacy also ranks them first then she’s guaranteed a bid there)
c) both of those
There are no sororities that prohibit their members from cutting legacies if they really want to. It’s just a question of at what point they can do it.

Most of this is correct but Phi Mu and dphie actually have to take legacies lol look it up

If you follow your own advice and google Phi Mu legacy policy/D Phi E legacy policy, you’ll find plenty of evidence stating otherwise. D Phi E actually states their legacy rules directly on their website:

The chapters here might choose to operate differently, but it’s not their national policy.

I’m in one of these chapters and have a close friend in the other. We both have to take legacies nationally or fight hard to drop them still to be declined 99% of the time

a. Classification
1. Legacies
A "legacy" is the sister (stepsister), daughter (stepdaughter), or granddaughter (step granddaughter) of a member of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority.
i. Declared Legacy
A declared legacy is a legacy who has submitted the necessary documentation with the International Headquarters prior to the beginning of the recruitment process.
Whenever possible, a Delta Phi Epsilon "legacy" should be invited to the first invitational party. No declared “legacy” should be denied an invitation to the first round of invitational events for any reason other than academic ineligibility according to campus and/ or Delta Phi Epsilon’s International policies. If a declared “legacy” is in danger of being released the International Headquarters must be notified. If a declared "legacy" is invited to and attends Delta Phi Epsilon's preference party, her name must appear on the chapter’s first invitation list (i.e. bid list or A list).
The “in danger of being released” part is what this is dumb is talking about. In other words if you vote on a legacy and her scores are in the toilet you have to get permission from nationals to release her (and they never get it).
