There is a formula used to calculate the number of required cuts. Those that had the best returns last year have to cut the most. Those that got back the lower % of those invited can invite back the most. So, if chapter A got back 99% of the women they invited, they may have to cut 900 women before next week. Whereas, if chapter B only got back 30% of those they invited, they might be able to invite everyone that came to philanthropy round back.

That information is not common knowledge. Panhel has it. I wouldn't worry about it. When you get your next round of invites, you will see who is inviting you back. There is nothing you can do about it--so try and focus on classes and keep hoping for the best.

Bottom tier houses usually wait to do harsh cuts until after sisterhood and pref while top / top mid cut harsh every round. Each top or top mid house has about 200 or less than 200 people (the top 3 have a good bit less) coming back for sisterhood round. Not saying this means you won’t get invited but try to keep that in mind when you get your lists back and try to stick it out even if you are disappointed with it pretty much everyone feels this way at some point during rush and we obviously all love our chapters now even though we were upset at times during rush
