There is a minimum Panhel cut off for grades. But, the chapter average GPA for these houses is roughly a 3.5. So, if you have about a 3.5 your grades won't be an issue. If your grades are really low, they may cut you for that. With sometimes close to 2000 pnms, who often times blend together in the middle, grades are an easy cut to make. Let's say they have 1800 pnms come through and they love 400 of them and really don't like 400 of them. That leaves 1000 in the middle that need some cut off. If they can invite 900 back, they may cut the 1000 middle pnms by grades. Goodbye bottom 500. It sounds very arbitrary but often times it isn't personal. You will likely have met just a handful of members and they have to cut by some criteria. This is particularly true of the first round. So, don't take it personally.
