advice for rushing next semester

I know almost no one from highschool in a frat but have met and am tight with a bunch of pledges in lower tier frats and was wondering if that and me being a highly social person is enough to get me a bid at a lower tier frat? IU is very competitive so I have no idea what it would take to get a bid somewhere. Can someone please enlighten me.

Thinking that rushing a lower tier frat would guarantee you a bid is so wrong. Its all about fit, I rushed a lower tier a middle and a top, and i didnt get a bid from the lower tier...
