theta phi informal
by: InformalSo I see TPA is gonna do informal now on the 17th. Can I register for theirs if I’m also going to DPhiE’s informal? What would happen if I got a bid from DPhiE since their recruitment is before TPA’s?

So if you go through the informal recruitment and get a bid with DPhiE you have a few weeks before you’re initiated so you aren’t an official member during that time. You could drop without consequence. So if you get a bid you can accept if you want and then go through Theta Phi’s and see if you get a bid there and then decide which you like better. It’s not the best option but technically you can do it.

You can register for both, but im almost certain that you cannot accept a bid from DphiE and then a week later accept one from TPA. The rules are slightly different for informal, but you're still formally being offered a bid and invited into that sorority if that makes sense.

I thought once you are offered a bid you can’t accept another for an entire year?
