dphie
by: lmkSo I’ll be a freshman at IU soon and ive seen a lot of stuff on here that is rude about dphie, is this a bad house? I’m a legacy to this chapter but at NYU and my mom wants me to consider her chapter, but I’m scared of what I’ve heard. What’s the deal? (Please answer only if you’re in Greek life)

This site is fun to read but you shouldn’t listen to 99% of what is said on here. There is very little helpful advice in a pool of biases and houses trying to make other houses look bad or their house look good. Anyways every single pnm should give every single house a shot bc as someone who went through formal sophomore year, being a geed on this campus is terrible especially if most people you know also want to go greek. Once you join a house you realize tiers at IU really don’t matter like they do at a lot of other schools bc of our tiny pledge class size for our school size. You don’t have to join the house your mom was in but to not even consider it would be pretty dumb

Dphie is a very unique and diverse chapter. The woman in there are really inspiring. They don’t fit the typical sorority stereotype but they have amazing sisterhood because that’s what the sisters joined for. They just got a house and are a sorority so they will pair. They’re a new chapter, so they’re still developing a large presence but the woman are amazing. Form your own opinion about them don’t listen to others. And most importantly, especially during rush, respect all the houses.
