by: RushQuestionOn preference night how many girls are the houses permitted invite to each of the three rounds? The numbers are obviously are significantly smaller but I didn't know if there was a maximum or standard number that houses could invite.

The number varies based on a few factors. Chapters who are stronger at recruiting new members (a term when a chapter issues a certain number of invitations and a high percentage accept those invitations) get to invite fewer women back. Also, the number of women who returned to that chapter the previous year is also factored in. Also, remember that the number of women you see at a party may not be everyone who was invited or may be a larger party than a previous or later party. So no, there is no standard number. each chapter may have a different number.
