houses asking who you preffed

During pref round the girl who rushed me basically asked me if her house is my top choice (she didn't say it outright but rlly obviously implied it.) I told her it's my top choice. Someone said I shouldn't have done that. I'm confused because I thought the sororities prefer to give bids to girls they know are preffing them because they want a perfect rush

That was dirty rushing, you should tell your Rho Gam. It's not okay for them to put you in that position.
