If this was posted by a Tri Delt troll, go away. If this was a serious question by a pnm, it won't be for many years. If you pledge D Phi E, you will have that house for at least as long as you are in school. Tri Delts won't be back until at least all of the old members have graduated. Then it will take some time to rebuild. (Think about Phi Psi. They are back on campus but not back in their house.) This doesn't happen overnight.

Typically, when a chapter leaves IU for disciplinary reasons, the maximum punishment has been 4 years suspension (that's like when people died). While this is the first time a sorority has been suspended and the suspension was instituted by their nationals not IU, I would assume the same rules to apply. A safe bet would be that Tridelt comes back 3 or 4 years after their suspension was instated with one year living out of the house. I would think that would mean that Tridelt will be back in their house by either the fall of 2020 or 2021. That would mean that D Phi E probably has a two or three year lease.

DPhiE has a 5 year lease as of now, and as mentioned above, could potentially extend that. No one knows exactly how long the Tri Delt suspension will be so any definite answers just aren’t true.

DPhiE is in the TriDelt house for at MINIMUM 5 years.

Agree with the people uptop. It is not the Tri Delt house anymore, they don’t even exist. It’s the DphiE house now and they signed a 5 year contract minimum. I also know that they are discussing actually buying the house depending on numbers and other factors. Before any butt hurt Tri Delts jump on this just know that this is information coming from YOUR nationals. They told DphiE that Tri Delt is NOT coming back. If (and that’s a big IF) they were to comeback it will be yearsssssssss from now and at that time who knows who will actually own the house. DphiE might want to build their own house by that point. But for PNMs now they will for sure have the house all the way through your college years and more.

Tridelt not returning for a long time could be true. They haven't come back to Penn State. They closed Arizona recently although that was for numbers reasons and they gave a firm timeline of when they'd be back
