First implemented by Sigma Phi Epsilon in the fall of 1992, the Balanced Man Program is a self-paced, personal development experience.
SigEp has eliminated the pledge process completely. The program grants all members the same rights and privileges from day one, which is contrary to the idea of a two-tiered, pledge model. Because we recruit the best men, they are granted full responsibility as soon as the accept the invitation of membership.

Sig Ep nationally voted for all their chapters to be dry. Sip Ep is basically dead at IU.

When a young man joins Sigma Phi Epsilon, he discovers something unique. Through the Balanced Man Program (BMP) chapter, he immediately becomes a brother. The BMP eliminates pledging from the chapter experience, and puts an emphasis on continued development throughout college and beyond.

Clearly someone is trying to troll SigEp here on greek rank and it isn't working. SigEp continues to be a top house and a fraternity girls really like. SigEp is working really hard to improve their image and that of the entire Greek system which has suffered recently. Some people can't seem to let go of the fact that they didn't get a bid from SigEp and needed to go with one of the lesser frats. Clearly not everyone is SigEp material. Please take your hate somewhere else!
