informal or snap bids
by: ?is it likely for any housed sororities to do informal recruitment during fall? also is it possible to get a snap bid at any time of the year? like if u really showed interest and had friends in the house and talked to them about it

Snap bids only occur in the time period between bid matching after formal recruitment and bid day. Most chapters do not even know that women have been snapped into their pledge class.
Yes, there will be some chapters doing informal in the fall. Some will do a mini-version of formal recruitment with different rounds. Some will be more informal with random events. Some will keep it really hush hush and just offer bids to friends of friends.
