If you don't get back any houses will you be informed? If you got back 16 at the 16 cut would it be rare to get zero back at the 9 cut?

There is no way to tell because recruitment is an individual experience.

You could have gotten 3 back at 16 and had those same 3 keep you through pref.

You could have gotten 16 back at 16 and then been released or gotten 1 house back at 9.

There is no way to tell, so just do your best and be grateful that there is a house that is giving you a chance if you have any invites back.
