Hey IU Rhogam Selection Team-

Not sure why you are NOT sending private messages bcc when notifying people about decisions. People put a lot of hard work into their applications and to have it go out as a mass email is completely unprofessional and callous. It may not have been intentional (or not thought through) but sending blind copies is the proper way to notify people when personal (and disappointing) decisions are being made. I think you owe the applicants an apology.

I wasn't cut, but I did notice that they didn't bcc on the initial email to applicants as well. It's just proper procedure for unfamiliar or private group notifications. Constructive criticism.

I am always amazed by the quality women they reject for rhogams; many better than some that are selected. However, some houses do not nominate their strongest women, because they want them recruiting. And let's face it, who you know matters a lot.
