Ask the Questions During Recruitment
by: Ask
New members - if you have questions about the chapters then ask your Rho Gam. If they don’t know the answers, ask them who else you can ask to get the answers. Know the chapters before you make decisions.
Ask them about membership and retention rates each semester. How many members dropped from each chapter last fall? Last spring? What was their chapter’s GPA last fall? Last spring? How many active members do they have on their roster right now? How many did they have at the end of spring? How many graduates graduated in the spring? What about the summer?
We asked you questions about you when you registered so the chapters have all of that information. Don’t you want to know that the chapter you’re considering joining is somewhere that people are happy and stay long term?
Do the work. Ask the questions. This is a public University and all records are available by request. So ask.
Obviously, I feel confident in my chapter. We have nothing to hide. Our sisterhood is strong. The ranks on this site are one single person’s opinion so you have to consider the source. You have a chance to ask the questions and hear the data for yourself.

Membership is important but girls care about different things. We care popularity, looks, sisterhood, leadership opportunities, events, diversity, reputation, academics and more. Ask about what YOU prioritize.
