How much do rankings matter?

Top srats will still have socials with mid frats. Upper mid srats don’t.
Top frats don’t really plan socials with mid srats. Some upper mids frats will have socials with mid srats.

I mean this all disrespect but that comment is correct. There are some mid frats that are acceptable. Having a social with DSig, TKE, SAE as a top chapter is not bad. Especially DSig. Fiji, PiKapp and Beta having a social with a top / upper mid is high is extremely unlikely.

I’m in a top and this is not true. There are no unacceptable people. Reality is tops, uppers, mids, lower. We’ll fw everyone unless it’s homecoming.

there definitely are unacceptable chapters to take to formal… be friends with… have socials with…. etc. not everyone is nice and down to earth like you unfortunately. wish more people were like you but they aren’t. ask a top frat guy about lower mid sororities or frats.

I can only speak for my chapter. My sisters will take mids to gads and formals. We will pair with a top or upper for homecoming.

if you are a pledge and you are worried about girls just know there are HUGE differences in opinions and chapters. if girls won’t date or be friends with you because of your rank you need to find nicer girls. btw there are nice girls are in top tiers too.

from the perspective of a top / upper mid it does kinda matter.
the only frats and sororities we see as “lower” are chi o, aephi & kappa and the unhoused sororities. for frats it’s fiji, pikapp beta but even still some won’t care. i have sisters (im in atop) who date fijis.
some won’t care but majority do. prob won’t have a social, pair but u can be friends.
hope this helps. i know this sounds awful but keep in mind that there are some shallow people in the world especially in upper greek life

Facts! Now that mids are getting hotter pledges the uppers are taking notice. It’s getting more common for upper sororities to ask mid tiers now.

Top srats are more open to mid frats than upper mids. They are not worried about their image bc they’re more secure.

majority girls in top will only date theta chis, sigma chis, atos, phidelts, kappa sigs, dus, zbts. you’ll sometimes see tke, dsig & sae.
