Why do the frats hate each other

Why is the culture here that most the frats hate each other. I’m a transfer from another big school and the frats there have events and parties together. Here yall try to fight each other and are banned from each others events. Guys don’t partake in other guys philos etc. it’s so strange to me, why is the culture like that here ?

It’s not really competition if yall refuse to partake in each others philos, interact with each other at all, refuse to attend each others parties etc. sad reality is most guys in frats here have little man syndrome.
