what are the big differences between top & middle tier sororities?

Attitude, status, looks. Actually lots of mids look just like the girls in the top chapters. Top tier chapters are more competitive and exclusive. Mid chapters are more inclusive and recruit for values and personality.

I think tops care most about beauty, status, top frat relations, connections, money & gpa. Mids care more about finding friendships, partying, hanging with frats.

almost all of the top girls are beautiful, they do not recruit many average looking girls. personality is not the focus, it’s more superficial, they need to look good for their image and ig. top chapters are getting more diverse, but they have a ways to go.

upper mid and mid chapters have a lot of beautiful girls, but they are open to all backgrounds, styles, shapes, because sisterhood isn’t about looks or status. mid chapters focus on personality and character as well as looks. you can see on ig that the girls aren’t as cookie cutter looking.

bottom tier girls are sometimes more awkward and less confident, have more average looking girls…not all, just more than upper mids/mids have. the bottom/lower tier girls have more of the odd theater tiktok, goofy disney girl vibes.

check the instagrams, then go through recruitment. every chapter is different and some are kinder, some are goofier, some are friendlier, some are snobbier, some will be your people. find your vibe.
