Tiers reflect popularity, good looks, new pcs, member #s, social life, parties, events, fraternity and sorority relations, pairings, house, diversity, overall relevance. Sometimes things change.

So theta chi has moved up simply because of how successful they’ve been the past couple years in recruitment and their campus presence. They are going to be the biggest chapter on campus after this semester and the vast majority of those guys are “top tier” level guys. Other frats that have moved up in the tiers these past couple years have been SAE, FIJI, and TKE (albeit at a much lower level than Theta Chi).
