advice if you're looking to rush a fraternity

for all the guys looking to rush this semester heres some advice.
Every tier at ucf offers something for everyone and are each better and worse in their own ways so know what you're looking for.

If you're looking to rush chapters usually called top tier keep a few things in mind. While these chapters get the most recognition on campus there are a few draw backs. First of all these will usually put the chapter before any thing else and you'll be expected to hold up an image. you'll have a lot of fun and your letters will be regarded as a good status symbol so long as you keep up the appearance of top tier. This is a good place to rush if you're not looking for a great brotherhood but want to be regarded highly. These chapters are full of apathy and complacency because its members are usually full of themselves. In sales their members would be regarded as farmers not hunters.
If you're looking to rush a mid tier fraternity heres what to expect. Once again you'll be regarded well on campus and the only people who will look down on you is top tier or those that perceive themselves as so. The brothers will usually be looking to improve the chapter and try to turn it top tier but thats not really a possibility at UCF so don't fall into that mindset. These tiers will focus more on quality brotherhood and are usually more accepting of different groups of people. Once again you'll have a great time because basically every fraternity at UCF has a good time and have some groupies but you will have to try harder to keep up appearances for the chapter because it really only takes a few bad semesters to lose relations with sororities, be regarded as bottom tier, and have most brothers give up trying .
If you're looking to rush bottom tier don't be discouraged. These are the chapters that usually have the closest brotherhoods. Try looking for chapters who don't mind any stigmas and are more focused on doing whats right by their members. These chapters are the ones that will look after you the most. if your chapters looking to move up a lot of hard work will be expected to go towards competitions and events but that in itself can be a lot of fun. This is a great place to find more humble people and friends for life.
