No that is not allowed. If Pi Kapp actives were granted Alumni status, then they are not allowed to join new fraternity. Unless, if they all quit or they were all expelled from Pi Kapp (stripped from their letters) then they are eligible to join a new fraternity. But then again, why would a new fratentiy want these rejects. I am sure a new fraternity would want to start off in the right direction.

sure they were sent to alumni status rather than kicked out. It'd be a good base of guys if anyone could get some, but I can only imagine freshmen wanting to do that if anyone to be honest, the rest would probably just keep partying and being the remnants of a legend rather than pledging somewhere else (even if they could). To me the idea of willfully dropping your letters seems pretty sleazy baring extreme circumstances.

if your initiated into a frat your that for life. they can't just magically start off a new frat. Alumni usually just come on campus and start recruiting. that's what happened to KA Kappa sig zbt and sig ep

Even if you were stripped of your letters or quit your fraternity, no other fraternity would take an initiated member of another frat. It's against the rules/bylaws of almost every fraternity.
