the only delay in our response was because of nationals. we had a statement we wanted to put out as soon as we were made aware of the situation. and yes no action would have been taken unless it went to twitter because how would they know about it? we dropped that girl from our house right away as well. as a Latina and Native American member of this chapter I can say that I was disgusted by our NATIONAL’S delayed response, but our entire chapter rallied and we went against nationals to make a statement regarding the issue. before you attack our chapter, just know that if you have an issue with what happened, you should probably drop your house as well. had it happened in your chapter nationals would have barred the immediate response too. LISK to all chapters, but don’t tear the amazing president and exec in this chapter down.
