DO NOT RUSH THIS SORORITY. Outmost worst sorority experience I could've imagined. Rushing gave false hope that it was one of the best sororities on campus, they preached sisterhood and support during rush, but the reality was the complete opposite. Once you’re actually in, you realize how surface-level everything is. There’s no real support, no genuine connection, and absolutely no sense of belonging. I never felt welcomed, included, or valued — instead, it felt cliquey, judgmental, and honestly draining. They talk about positivity and uplifting each other, but my experience was filled with negative interactions, lack of communication, and feeling isolated more than anything. Nothing about this sorority matched what they promised. Including events, boring and cheap. Joining made my experience on campus worse, not better, and I regret ever rushing. Save yourself the time, money, and emotional energy. look elsewhere.

How do they have so many girls drop or get kicked out every semester. Obviously there is a lack of true sisterhood within the chapter. I wouldn’t waste my time rushing this org.

I had a horrible time rushing because I did not feel very welcomed and the sisterhood did not feel genuine to me.

I really wish I joined KBG or Tri-Delta instead :( Alpha phi does not practice what they preach (sisterhood, character and inclusion don’t mean anything to them even though they say they care)

KBG is hella trashy, their HQ separated from the states and lots of their chapters keep closing in Canada. I’d recommend bringing a new org to campus!

Someone I know joined this sorority and it changed them as a person. They became incredibly crass and rude, not to mention extremely shallow. The whole thing is about “sisterhood” but what it really seems to mean is paying to feel popular like you’re in high school again. They kicked a girl out for being rude this year, while they all gossip and talk about each other behind their backs. That might be normal when you’re 14 but these girls are all in their 20s attempting to feel like they did at 16 when they were popular in high school. Don’t waste your time and money on this, instead find a place you feel comfortable and meet people (without having to pay them to be your friends) and create genuine connection based on shared interests, not the ability to pay for people to like you. Also they do poor charity work, they raise money for cancer research yes but it’s largely performative and about showing “good faith” rather than doing actual community work/involvement. I know i’m probably being overly harsh but it really is a high school type popularity contest except it costs 400+ dollars a year. Save the money, learn to be comfortable with yourself and your identity, university is about growth, not trying to relive the high school peak.

I went to one recruitment event with this organization and immediately felt excluded. I do not feel comfortable around this organization at all. I would never recommend for anyone to associate with this group. Please join an organization that actually cares about more than how much money you have. Overall, they are not nice people.

seems to care more about the number of girls they get to join (so they get more money), then actually ensuring that there is a decent sisterhood between their members. Would like to see them put an effort into forming connections with members, instead of the singular clique of exec and select few they like.

I’m an oldie, but I never got the chance to say it so why not here: this group of girls (“sisters”) are some of the worst people I have met in my entire life. Knowing these women was a stain on my life, and I am so grateful to no longer be in touch with any of them. I’m hopeful that some sororities offer sisterhood, but when the seed is rotten, it’s not going to bloom just because a few years have passed. Today’s reviews sound exactly like they were in the past: entitled and crude. I wish I hadn’t met most of you, and I’m so sorry for being friends with people who traumatized other women while being hot messes themselves. Crappy people, if I could do it over again, I wouldn’t do it through this sorority. Run for the hills.
