quotas

Now that it's getting closer, does anyone have an idea of how many girls have signed up this year so far? Or what quota/sophomore quota will be approximately?
It's still early in the game to be asking this, but I'm just wondering how we're looking in comparison to previous years' numbers.

Not sure how many girls signed up this year. That being said, sophomore quota is determined on pref night. Sororities don't necessarily even need to follow sophomore quota. That is made up by the fact that some sororities take way more sophomores than quota.

This is not true. Sure some sophomore pnms are re rushing but they are not viewed as "less" than the other girls in their pledge classes. Sure they often pledge a house they have friends in, but those are real friendships. You can't force people to be friends with you and give you a bid. I'm not sure where your info comes from, but they are not the "joke" of their sorority.

if you're a sopohmore with a high gpa and you present yourself well and have friends in a chapter, of course they will take a strong look at you!

Generally re-rushing sophomores are not successful unless something has dramatically changed since freshman year. Usually the girls who get in under sophomore quota are UT girls who haven't rushed before or are transfers.

wrong. Try to cover up taking second round sophomores. It happens all the time.

you obviously don't go here or are in some lower tier house that doesn't have as many choices. Something really has to change for our house to even consider someone we've cut before.
