Greek Life Percentage at UT

According to Google:
Only about 8% of total undergraduates participate in Greek Life at UT.
Impact on campus: Despite the large number of organizations, Greek life is not seen as dominating the social scene at UT Austin, and students can easily opt in or out of it without it affecting their college experience

UT is much more like Michigan or UCLA or University of Washington than Alabama or Mississippi, so much more to do in Austin , no surprise the percentage rate of involvement in Greek life is lower.

And half those greek organizations are service fraternitirs sororitirs full of random people
