You all need to understand the timeline of each sorority's established date at UT to understand this nonsensical "top" thing, aka hardest to get into. "Top" in reality means, been at UT longer and as a result has that much more alumni support/connections and monetary support. These are just facts. It has nothing to do with how 'cute' a PNM is at all. It comes down to money and donors through the years.
ie. anadrome POT. Just a bunch of dirty pots. ;-)

It's not everything but it definitely paints a better picture on what is deemed 'top'. It always has to do with money. And in this case years and years of donor money.

Aphi national & alums have pushed “hot looks’ skinny blondes with a sm presence across the country to jump to top tier status across the country. Where they were once lower tier, they now surpass PKT & the rest, at many schools. They use social media influencers to impress high school girls to only APhi. This has been going on for almost a decade, and the effect is everywhere

And yet…..
There may have been a correlation for decades and decades but it’s been over 120 years since the first frats started. The difference of 2 decades of existence from ChiO to AX is no longer a factor after that long of a span of time, things have changed. Transparency in the orgs has increased with socials and leveled the playing field. theta was early and yet ….. ChiO should be neck in neck with ADPI and yet…..

Alpha Phi is one of the best sororities nationally. West Coast/Southwest/East Coast. SEC does not define what is deemed good nationally. Unless you plan on moving to Birmingham or Dallas after college SEC ranks means nothing. The big cities for jobs are Chicago, NYC, LA and many of the sororities in the south are unheard of elsewhere. Also NEVER put your sorority on your resume for jobs. They will make fun of you.

what real qualities are you talking about? The entire recruitment process everywhere is about looking cute and being social/likeable. Nobody is taking a deep dive into your soul to see how decent of a human you are in a span of 72 hrs. And the rest of your statement isn't true, either. Just look at the stats. If you make claims at least leave your hurt feelings at the door so it isn't so painfully apparent that you either got cut or aren't in greek life at all.

This is true ADPI was solidly mid tier with AXO and DG for many years. Alpha Phi was much weaker than ADPI and not much better than KD or Alpha Xi Delta.

Pi Phi was founded before Kappa in IL and at UT. They have always been rivals everywhere. Funny to see the the Monmouth Duo ladies slugging it out. Kkg was formed when the Pi Phi group dropped them at Monmouth. 🤷♀️
Theta always rushes well against these two. When you ever see anything bad targeting KAT or PBP, it’s a KKG pr group doing it. Yep! Big time Kkg chapters & national push for pr now that APhi is also grabbing more cute girls from them.

Both came on campus at same time in 1902. At Monmouth, Kappa was founded as a Greek letter organization for women. Pi Phi was a literary society at that time, and didn’t become Pi Beta Phi until later. Theta in early 1870 and Kappa later in 1870 were the first Greek letter societies.
