This has taken a tacky turn. Congrats to Monique. It is great to have her represent UT. I am not a pageant fan, but they are harmless and Miss America is far more prestigious than Miss USA. Some people don't care for them, so let it go. I love the "you flaming libs" comments. By y'alls logic, all conservatives sit and watch pageants. My dad is super conservative and I don't believe HE watches pageants. And why hate on ADPi? Let them have their moment. They are proud of her, as any house would be. So...be classy and gracious, UT Greeks!

Everyone talks about how good XO and DDD are for having pom members and cheerleaders. ADPI should get some credit for having MS. Texas and will get a lot more credit if she is named Ms. America. I get it, its not 1956 anymore there are lots of ways for women to be recognized but this is still an honor for Ms. Evans and her chapter. Probably the only reason shes not big six is because she's from Florida. Lots of high quality out of state girls end up in AXO,DG Alpha Phi ADPi ,KD and Alpha Xi Delta.
UT does not have a crummy sorority and is better for it. I can name schools were a chapter is terrible its not a pretty sight.

Not surprised if she's from Florida because everyone from Florida wants to be an ADPi. But, I doubt she's from Florida. How can she be miss texas if she's from Florida? ? I'm sure her family owns homes all over but wouldn't she have to be a Texas resident to compete?
