are alumnae panhellenic spring forums helpful?

by: Rushee

I am an incoming PNM from the Dallas/FW area. I keep hearing about these. I have a conflict with my local one and will be unable to attend because of a sports practice. Are these local alumnae panhellenic spring forums mandatory? How helpful are they? Where can I find a list of others to attend? Can you attend one outside your area? Am I penalized during rush if I skip it?

I'm from the Austin area and can safely say that we did not have an alumnae panhellenic organization or whatever you call it. That being said, it's helpful but by no means necessary

Austin does certainly have one. Google: Austin Alumnae Panhellenic Association. They are very active and are having a recruitment info. session for 2019 on Sunday, Feb. 24. You can meet various sorority alumnae and get help with recommendations.
