Acacia Fraternity at University of Texas at Austin - UT 3.0 They're a bottom tier house but not bottom tier like tke or sigma pi. They have a decent house and really try to make connections with sororities and improve themselves. The problem is that they have poor discipline with who they rush. When I talk to them it seems like some of the guys they pull in are solid but others are social misfits who thought joining a frat would make them cool, which makes sororities hesitant to associate with them even if some of the brothers have good relations.

They're a bottom tier house but not bottom tier like tke or sigma pi. They have a decent house and really try to make connections with sororities and improve themselves. Acacia Fraternity at University of Texas at Austin - UT 1.0 For a while there it almost looked like they were about to crawl out of bottom tier, or at least move up to phi delt and lambda chi's mild level of success, but after that pledge class looks like they're right back down to square one. Next time you find mild success, don't ruin it by suddenly acting like you're a Greek monolith and maybe you won't be a joke on campus. "Not as bad as TKE" does not mean "major fraternity"

Acacia Fraternity at University of Texas at Austin - UT 1.0 Most frats rise and fall in popularity each year; however, Acacia is synonymous with bad. If you join this fraternity you're signing up for four years of ridicule. If a small frat is what you're looking for, better to join Zeta Psi, Delta Chi, Sig Pi, or Pi Kapp. People actually respect them.

Acacia Fraternity at University of Texas at Austin - UT 2.2 At every rush party, acacia guys seem really bitter about being bottom tier and constantly try to be super fratty. Their yard is really nice, but the house itself is nothing special. They do have the best sorority relations in the bottom tier, but I think most of the people rushing them would rather not be constantly trying to be diet FIJI than have like ten Zeta girls show up once in a blue moon to blue ball them.

Acacia Fraternity at University of Texas at Austin - UT 1.4 In all fairness it's really just a handful of their guys that hold them back, but they hold them back a lot. Their house has kept them somewhat relevant, but with the new houses/renovations that Pi Kappa Phi, TKE, Zeta Psi, and Sigma Pi have gotten this summer that might change very quickly.
