Is Wednesday night a going out night?

I just finished my 4:30-5:20 class and half of ksig is texting me about going out tonight. In highschool we only drank on fridays and saturdays is it different here? I can’t tell if they just want me to join their frat or if they just actually want to hang out with me. I’m thinking it’s the latter. Anyways, let me know if this is normal, cause it’s 6:30 and this bar they took me to called city bar is pretty empty and I’m not really having a good time.
