TO: CUTIE PNMS!!!!

by: realaf

To PNMs: it’s tempting to obsess over the rankings you see online, but they don’t actually show you what being in a chapter feels like. Every house has its own strengths. Some are more social, some have great philanthropies, some are super close-knit. None of that is captured by tiers.

What matters most during recruitment is how you show up. Be yourself and talk to your recruiter with confidence. They’re nervous too, and they’re supposed to guide the conversation, but it makes a huge difference if you’re open and share a lot about yourself.

If you don’t feel a connection in a round, don’t be mean or shut down. That just comes across as rude. Stay respectful, be grateful for the opportunity, and wait until it’s time to rank to sort out your true preferences.

At the end of the day, rankings fade, but the relationships you build in the house you choose will last long after recruitment is over. Hope this helps, recruitment really is what you make it.

Yes all of this!! Also always be respectful in your rounds! You never know who is listening or who knows who. Word travels fast!

The ranks on here are highly biased. There are certain sororities known for inflating their rank and/or down ranking their perceived competition. Do not use Greekrank as a guide. Go with your gut.
