alpha phi slayed
by: BiddiesOkay! For the most part I think pledge classes did as well as they normally did in the past but alpha phi stepped up major this year. Stole a lot from DG/AXO and definitely earned their spot as top tier. Hopefully the girls are fun because they have the looks going for them.

Just because a girl likes to have fun and wear makeup, take selfies, etc. doesn't make her any less of a woman to be respected. It doesn't make her vapid or superficial or any other nasty term you wanna throw around. I could care less about new PC rankings but FOH with this annoying anti-feminist crap. Let girls do what they want without shaming them for everything possible~ (and chill tf out—you look like the one who cares a lot, not them)

Way to use feminism as an excuse to support something that is anything but. If APhi wants to objectify themselves, fine. It’s their lives. But because of the institutions they represent, they are also willingly perpetuating negative stereotypes about our organizations and by proxy, me as a member of such an organization. Classless behavior transcends gender.

^ is it really your place to ascertain whether or not these women are “objectifying” themselves? I certainly don’t think so. Projecting an assumption whether or not a woman is “classy” or deserving of respect based on how she looks or present herself is inherently anti-feminist. Different things empower different women and it’s not your place to go out of your way in attempt to publicly shame them. We can do better. Women supporting women 2k18. Let women do what empowers them without passing such harsh judgment, and let’s all practice a lil more love and compassion in the community, k? K.
