This chapter is by far the best sorority at shepherd. They have some incredible underclassmen making moves within the sorority and on campus, as well as some steadfast seniors leading the chapter to greatness.

I’m a part of other organizations on campus and I felt that these girls weren’t very nice to me I will try to get to know them as much as possible been very nice and respectful towards them but they haven’t done the same to me tried by I’ll try by talking with them following them on social media but they just won’t give me the time a day I feel like they only hang out with their sisters are people who are pretty or people who have high hierarchy are very popular which is very disappointing to me because I thought some of them are really real but I guess I was wrong

Was a sister many years ago. They were not friendly to me once I became a sister. They excluded certain sisters and talked bad about each other. I quit attending anything because of this. Definitely not what I thought it would be about.

These girls are very kind, driven, and fun! They all make you feel welcomed and the conversations during recruitment were very genuine and fun. Would 100% recommend!

Each of these reviews are so negative towards Tri Sigma. Instead of promoting their own chapters, it’s easier to play into the age old narrative of not liking someone because someone said not to. This past year their awards were: highest chapter of excellence, outstanding community service, outstanding greek unity, outstanding recruitment & retention, and outstanding academic achievement. Each of these awards speaks directly against the comments of inclusivity, bias, and idiocy. It’s clear that their new leadership has taken so many steps to create a better chapter, (their awards prove so!) and it’s a shame to see such negative comments displaying personal insecurity. You can just talk them and see how kind and motivated they are. I seriously admire them for it. Stop believing what you hear and reach out.

There fine but very private and close to there sisters and not anyone else. But some like w actually talk to me

Sigma is definitely the best sorority on campus. Pretty girls and very classy! Love sigma sigma sigma!!

Sigma contributes to the campus life at Shepherd in a meaningful and positive way! They’re so accepting and approachable.

There is a few nice girls but the vast majority are very rude/judgmental. They are also very religious so a lot of the girls go to church together on Sunday's. There is nothing wrong with this but my friend is not religious and she gets judged a lot for not going to church events with them. AS well as this when I went out for recruitment I feel like they completely looked over me because I'm not your "Ideal" Sorority girl, blonde, skinny, party a lot. A lot of the members just talked to the pretty girls. There's no diversity at all which is a turn off.

A lot of the girls at shepherd want to be in sigma and I don’t understand at all there pretty basic and not vary diverse at all like they have 3 woman of color and few thick girls but most of them are tall blond or brunette pretty girls and they don’t do a lot of stuff on campus that I have seen but I do notice during recruitment they vary “selective” like they take more outgoing pretty girls and only do it base off looks like I’m not tying to be mean but I feel there not the best sorority here on campus but a lot of them a vary nice and welcoming but some are mean and judging too like I heard they talk bad about each other and gossip a lot like to me that’s not sisterhood but any way a lot of the girls who come out during recruitment just want sigma are upset if they don’t get a bid from them like when I did recruitment last year they judged me really hard and I felt that I had to be perfect and not myself at all there welcoming in some ways but not as much they would talk to me for a few and then move on to the next girl pretty fast and ask pretty much the same question every time they never let me speak they would move on to the next person pretty much and when I was with another girl they would only I knowledge her and not ask me anything like I wasn’t there at all there pretty much just like those girls how where really popular in high school who only hangout with there group
