bid day!
by: pnmthis school is on of my top choices and if I were to go here I would want to rush. How many girls don't get bids yearly? why? is it like they are weird or do you need connections? thanks!

A lot of girls drop. Just depends on if you like the houses you have left. Everyone finds a house that's where they are supposed to belong!

A large number of girls drop out voluntarily, but almost everyone who finishes rush gets a bid. (This is excluding girls who do intentional single preference, or "suicide," and only rank one house. That's dangerous and puts you at risk of not getting a bid.)

Connections don't really help during rush unless you know that a lot of girls want you. Girls that don't get bids are usually girls that drop out of rush because they didn't get the house they wanted. If you're at least somewhat normal and you take care of yourself, you'll get a bid somewhere.

do many girls get left out? I know at big SEC schools tons get dropped- is it like that here?
