Thoughts on COB and theta
by: hmI decided to drop rush as I only got back one house for pref and had nothing against them but could not see myself there at all. Should I try to COB theta? Another sorority? Honestly just confused on how Theta will be able to restart and need advice.

A house that dropped you isn't going to turn around and offer you a bid. Try Theta. Reps are on campus and will start recruiting on the 21st and will have a bid day on Feb 15. There is an interest form to fill out for them. They are on insta at thetamichigan. If you like the girls that Theta recruits and you connect with them then you have found your home.

I'm not a Theta. Some of us just genuinely want to help the girls who didn't have a good rush.

Not true. I know LOTS of girls who have gotten dropped from houses and then got COB’d by them!! So yes, it’s possible, but not super likely. Theta is a good option if you want to help build a new chapter and you could meet some nice girls there. It will be a bit of a different experience than an established sorority since it will only be your pc, so that is something you should take into account. Good luck!
