To all freshman girls

If you are planning to rush here are actual things you have to know. Sorority rush is all about knowing people. There are obviously spots that go to randoms but it is important to have one person or multiple people to advocate for you in the back room chats. The top 3 sororities (aphi, kappa, tridelt) all know basically their entire PC class before rush because of dirty rushing. So if you want to dirty rush try to get in with some girls who have connections. If you don’t want to dirty rush/don’t think you can that’s fine, but you have to try to have some friends in the house you want. HOWEVER, and I know everyone says this, you should really wait to judge the houses until after you’ve been. I thought I would like some of the houses more than I did and vise versa. Also sorority rankings really only matter in terms of status for the first two years. After that everyone mixes and goes to the bars. ALSO PLEASE KNOW: there are VERY pretty girls in mid sororities. They are just considered mid because every sorority can’t be top, it’s all a hierarchy. Also pls don’t listen to what people are saying about rush for the south. It’s totally different at Michigan and no one wears those short love shack fancy dresses. It’s all winter-y stuff. And bring coats!!! Another note: just because you are in a top sorority does not mean people will think you are prettier and just because you are in a bottom sorority does not mean people will think you are uglier. (Every sorority in the same line is lowkey the same) ppl like to rank the mid ones but they are all just mid.

Honestly just try to be in any of the ones on the list the rest are people who want to be in sororities but aren’t rlly people that should be in sororities.
Also lowkey dg and adpi are irrelevant but still good houses
Trust that you will end up wear you are supposed to be and if you get dropped or rlly don’t want the houses you have left you can COB. All the sororities so it except the top 3. That’s all my advice hope it helps
