Sororities and Roe v. Wade

by:

The lack of response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade by Michigan’s sororities is very telling, and quite frankly embarrassing. I haven’t seen a single post by our houses acknowledging the rights that were taken away from us. While scores of sisters in chapters are voicing their individual support, sororities themselves are silent. Are they really pro-women if they can’t speak out about the violences committed against us?

I’m not saying they shouldn’t post but what is a paragraph of “we’re saddened by…” really going to do? More realistically I think it’s a process to get nationals to approve anything like that. But fr how is “why hasn’t tri delt posted yet?!” ur first thought lmao

Get over yourself. U don’t have to protest everything abd throw a tantrum. Just vote.

Sororities have nearly 200 girls. It’s not the organization’s job to speak for all of them…nor should they purport to to speak for all members. Surely there are many differing opinions amongst the members. Each member can speak for themselves.
