Advice

Joining Michigan next year planning to rush 1st semester. Parents r super strict on grades so cant have that low of a gpa while pledging so I need to rush a frat that isn't that bad with hazing.Still want a good social life. What frats fall in this category.

Most frats at umich haze pretty hard, at least upper frats. Either suck it up or probably rush lower mids

If you balanced sports and schoolwork in high school you should be able to balance pledging and school no matter what frat you join. It’s just gonna suck but it’s manageable everywhere.

You probably wanna rush the loser frats, so TDX and down. Sigma Chi and up is where the hazing starts to kick up a notch but social life also goes up, it's an exchange between pledging and good social.
