How do you get invited to rush?

I just got off the waitlist and I definitely wanna be in greek life next year. I don’t get how this works though. How do you get invited to rush? For the top houses like phi psi figi and dke do you have to already know people in the frat to get invited to parties or will they just let you in? I don’t want to get stuck in a lower frat.

join Facebook groups, go to open houses, keep an open mind and try to make a good impressions. if they like you they will invite you back

Oh I was just naming some houses I was interested in based on the rankings. Is DKE not considered a top house at michigan? I heard they were top at other schools.
