These guys def do not need to be hung with a rep from the hippie flower child days. That's history and so is ur theory. This is a new group of guys and the haters on this campus do not want to give it a break. It is easier for the them to keep the label going because it takes the heat off of their frat or they are just complete idiots that do not have a life. Jump off.

Alpha Delta Phi - ΑΔΦ Fraternity at University of Michigan Ann Arbor - UM 4.2 Everyone at Michigan knows this frat as "Shady." The name started in the 1970s based on rumors and the fact that adphi could be made to sound like shadyphi. Today's "Shadyphi" is filled with great guys, with great personalities and who are really trying to improve the image of their fraternity on campus. Partying with them is tons of fun and they have such a huge house. All the brothers really make the girls feel welcomed and I haven't met one girl who has partied with shady and had a bad time.

They easily have some of the best pregames and the guys are so sweet and inviting as soon as you walk in. Quit dwelling on the past and give these guys a chance.
