Presbyterian College - PC Overview

  About Greek Life at PC

Presbyterian College is a small liberal arts school in Clinton, South Carolina, with an enrollment that sits well under two thousand undergrads. At a campus that size, the Greek system carries real weight in shaping social life. IFC and Panhellenic are both active, and a meaningful portion of the student body is involved in one chapter or another.

On the fraternity side, IFC chapters include Alpha Sigma Phi, Kappa Alpha Order, Pi Kappa Alpha, Pi Kappa Phi, Sigma Nu, and Theta Chi. Panhellenic houses three sororities: Alpha Delta Pi, Sigma Sigma Sigma, and Zeta Tau Alpha. There's no NPHC or MGC presence listed on campus at this time.

Because PC is such a tight-knit campus, rush and recruitment tend to feel pretty personal. You're not walking into a massive system where you're just a number — people actually get to know you during the process. That's pretty typical for small private schools in the South, and PC fits that pattern. Formal recruitment for sororities runs in the fall, and fraternities generally do informal recruitment across the year.

Greek life at a school this size doesn't stay in its own lane — it bleeds into weekend social life, campus events, and philanthropy pretty consistently. Chapters here participate in national philanthropic programs tied to their organizations, and local events tend to bring the broader campus community in, not just members.

Housing is part of the picture too. Several chapters have houses or dedicated lodge spaces on or near campus, which gives the system a physical presence that makes it feel like an established part of college life rather than just a club. For a school the size of PC, that kind of infrastructure keeps chapters active and visible throughout the year.
