They also run paid ads for their rush which is a huge joke. But if you prefer to be a middle of the road person and drink socially only this could be a good option

Sigma Phi Epsilon - ΣΦΕ Fraternity at American University - AU 2.8 Oh how far they've fallen. SigEp used to run Student Government, IFC, and the fraternity social scene. Then the new frats like Beta and ZBT stole their thunder and their grip on the school. They still have a nice house and all look like they came from a vineyard vines/brooks brothers catalog or just got finished sailing. With most of their leadership and top members graduated, time will tell whether they reclaim their former glory.

Sigma Phi Epsilon - ΣΦΕ Fraternity at American University - AU 3.6 Basically a more established version of Beta. Involved but douchey and generally unpleasant to be around. I know it's unfair to make generalizations because some of these guys really are good but as a whole, they're just awful.
